A beautiful dolphin adirondack chair complete with ottoman tail. It may not be a resin adirondack chair but that doesn’t excuse the fact that it’s one of nicest chairs you’re going to find anywhere! They’re built as strong as resin adirondack chairs, they’re built just as heavy as them also. Only thing different is going to be their high cost and low maintenance.

But, you’re not going to find them in my elegant and comfortable styles either. While you’re out looking for resin adirondack chairs and can’t seem to lock onto anything, be sure to come back here and rethink wooden chairs. Especially wooden adirondack fish chairs! These chairs are very unique and if taken care of, they’ll last just as long as resin chairs, and will be easier to replace and repair if needed.

This is one of my dolphin adirondack chairs. Although I don’t make my chairs out of cedar, it’s an option that you can request a price for. The cost of cedar is roughly 3 times the cost of the pine that I use so you can figure a steep upgrade in the price. Cedar adirondack chairs will last a very long time and will be quite rot resistant. If that’s the kind of wood you’re looking for by all means keep searching.

Cedar chairs are beautiful and will not have to be stained or painted. You can oil them once a year with any high grade wood penetrating oil. I would really like to be able to build my adirondack fish chairs out of cedar but they will be very expensive and maybe not very cost worthy.

Hopefully you’ll find what you’re looking for. Hopefully one day I may be able to offer recycled adirondack chairs for you. There’s many great qualities to them but again, cost effectiveness will hold me back from that endeavor. Figure you’ll pay twice as much for a recycled chair than one made from real wood.

Lowes and Home Depot both sell adirondack chair cushions that will fit my chairs. It’s easier to order them online as the selection they have in their stores will be seasonal and there may not be as many to choose from. What they offer online is a wide variety of styles and colors. You’ll just have to visit their websites and do a search for “adirondack chair cushions”

On both stores websites they have different thickness also. I’ve seen very thin adirondack chair cushions and also some pretty thick plush ones too. Some may even be be ordered with sate sports insignias and state and country colors. Another good part to adding an adirondack chair cushion to your chair is that it’ll cover the wood and add many more years to the many years you’re going to get already out of your chair.

This is one of my fish adirondack chairs painted in a two toned blue and yellow. One of my customers sent this picture in and it’s something that I do not offer. I sell the adirondack chairs painted in solid colors. They’re actually stained with a solid-color latex stain from one of the local leading paint stores. Painting your chairs will protect from the elements but it’ll also take away from the natural beauty of the chair’s wood grain.
This option is entirely up to the customer as personal preference. The cost of me staining the chairs can be offset by just purchasing your set and then deciding later if you want to stain them or not. There’s no coming back once you stain them, you can enjoy the wood grain for awhile, then if you get bored with it, take a brush and a high quality stain and have fun on a sunny afternoon.

This is a side view of one of my adirondack ottomans. Like my adirondack chairs and tables, this is one rugged product. The adirondack ottoman accents the chairs beautifully The ergonomic shape of it is very relaxing on the back of the legs and thighs. They’re also heavy enough where they themselves will not tip over when moved about.

My adirondack ottomans are not attached to the chairs. Although when put together next to the chairs they look like one piece, they’re not. Both my adirondack chairs and adirondack fish chairs can be ordered with or without the adirondack ottoman. If you order your chair without the ottoman and decide that you’d like one later they can be ordered separately online.

This is another area in the adirondack chair community where I believe I prevail. My adirondack table is stronger than probably any table your going to find online for adirondack furniture. I use 4″x4″ timbers for legs on my adirondack tables. Add this to the 2″x4″ framing and you have one solid table. The table itself weighs probably 30 pounds. There’s no chance of any wind outside of a tornado or hurricane that will turn this table over.

It also helps when little kids are around too. This adirondack table will not tip over easily. This table is an octagon shape and the legs are strategically placed for utmost stability. Adirondack chairs were made to be constructed from wood. Why you may want a plastic adirondack chairs no one knows but you. Maybe because of the maintenance free quality of it. Maybe the colors suit you more when you look at a plastic adirondack chair. Whatever the reason, most people prefer wooden adirondack chairs.
